Support St. Katharine Drexel Shelter – Give Hope Today
At St. Katharine Drexel Shelter, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Every night, men, women, and families in our community face the harsh reality of homelessness. With nowhere else to turn, they come to us in search of safety, stability, and hope.
Since opening in June 2022, St. Katharine Drexel Shelter has provided emergency shelter and essential support services to individuals and families in crisis. When both our single and family shelters are at full capacity, we provide safety and support to 96 individuals—offering not just shelter but also case management, housing advocacy, employment assistance, and resources to help individuals and families rebuild their lives.

In 2024 alone, the impact of our shelters and outreach is clear:
- Single Shelter Stats:
- 82 homeless men and 41 homeless women were served.
- 9,756 nights of care were provided to individuals in need.
- 4,483.5 hours of advocacy were dedicated to supporting individuals.
- Family Shelter Stats:
- 54 women, 18 men, and 112 children found safety in our care.
- 11,836 nights of care were offered to families in crisis.
- 933.75 hours of case management and 1,678 hours of family advocacy supported families toward stability.
- 1,257 hours of child advocacy ensured the well-being of our youngest residents.
- Outreach Stats:
o 97 total individuals were served through outreach efforts, connecting them with housing, employment, and essential services.
o 79.25 hours of hands-on support provided to unsheltered individuals.
